From dinky cars, model cars, remote control cars, motorcycles, and now exotic cars, i have been immersed in the car scene my entire life. I was your typical 16 year old car lover who couldn’t wait to get on the road. Obtained my G1 on my 16th birthday and then the dreams took off into top gear. I needed a car, but at 16 i needed a job, i needed money to make the dream of my first car become a reality. At 17 i bought a car. A brand new sliver Ford Contour SVT with a whopping 200hp, and of course a 5 spd manual gearbox. From the day i drove it away from the dealer i knew this would be the foundation, the start of many trades on my journey to my dream car.
Many years and many cars later i acquired my first exotic car, one of only 500 produced 2016 Shelby GT350R’s. It was an agonizing 14 month wait from order to delivery but from the first push of the bright red start button, feeling the rumble as all 526 horses came to life, the glorious notes from the exhaust, a smile came across my face as i knew i had finally reached that moment in life when you realize you achieved what you were never certain would be reality.
Feeling overwhelmed with excitement and pride i needed to meet others whom i could share this passion with. I searched the web and found car meets, car shows and car groups all around Ontario. After the first summer meeting so many great people, attending cruise days, shows, and events throughout the GTA i realized the one thing missing was i had to go outside my own community. Having spent the past 12 years living in and around the great city of Guelph i knew their were many enthusiasts like myself around town. So what could make the exotic car scene even better ? If it was local and supporting our own local community and charities.
Last summer i started the venture to create Prince Adventures, what i dreamed to be a locally based exotic, luxury, sports car group that will provide amazing social networking opportunities, camaraderie, and lasting friendships while supporting local charities in and around our community of Guelph, Cambridge, Kitchener, and Waterloo.
With our schedule being published to subscribed members (to subscribe enter your details on our contact page and we will contact you) this year we will have many great events from Winery cruises, track days, charity events and shows, to our weekly meets which will be held at Three Willows Church on Tuesday nights from 6-8pm where family and friends can come out, grab some great food from some of the best local food trucks and enjoy the sights and sounds of some of the most prestigious cars in the area.
Welcome to Prince Adventures !
