It looks like we skipped past spring into summer. We held our season opener at Foreign Automotive in Kitchener. As someone who attended the season opener last year, this year had a much bigger attendance. At the start of the meet, the usuals of the group showed up; couple Mclarens, Porsches, and Audis. We eventually had a Huracan Performante show up, who actually drove past us first, and later found the location.
The season opener was perfect in terms of weather conditions, the sun was out, the people were out and tons of cars to look at and take pictures of. There was such a wide range of exotic cars that everyone was pleased with what had come out. At the end of the meet, everyone usually rolls out by doing a short cruise up to Wildcraft in Waterloo and everyone pretty much goes here because of the W burger and hospitality. This has become a regular location after the weekly meets, so next time you see a bunch of exotics cruising together you will know why. However, if you can’t make it to Wildcraft, there might be a new restaurant we might gather at. So stay tuned for that.
We have more weekly meets held like this at the Guelph location (Three Willows United Church, Willow Road, Guelph, ON), where we meet weekly every Tuesday from 6-8 pm. The meet always has food trucks and they rotate every week. We are expecting to have a bigger attendance for these weekly meets, so please arrive earlier as the location is slightly smaller compared to Foreign Automotive.
Lastly, if you haven’t registered for our Guelph Exotic Show on June 3rd, you can do so by going to show registration to sign up for a spot. Read our previous blog post for more information, or message @princeadventures on Instagram.
